Credit Underwriting

Job Description

  • Thoroughly analyze risks and rewards in each individual transaction, including the purpose of the credit, source of repayment, collateral, sensitivities, (financial) history, terms, and conditions to determine the overall risk profile.
  • Propose adjustments of the credit proposals by working with Business Units to identify credit risks relevant and mitigate risk to be accepted.
  • Assess the risk exposure of each proposal and verify the proposed rating, decides within delegated authority, or provide opinions to higher approval levels on the rating.
  • Initiate and maintain contacts with Business Units and advising Business Units as a partnership regarding format and content of the credit proposals and, if relevant, the counterparty limit and country limit requests.
  • Perform Regular reviews with forward looking of each customer within the business to ensure that the risks covered by credit risk type are begin property identified, assessed, managed, proactively monitored, and controlled.
  • Develop credit quality of assigned business clients.
  • Contribute to further development of credit strategy, policies, manuals, procedures, and conclusions for portfolio.

Qualification

  • Bachelor/Master's Degree in Finance, Accounting, or related fields.
  • At least 2 years of experience in Credit Analyst related, Underwriter, RM, ARM, AA or related field.
  • Strong credit analytical skill, knowledge of industry and corporate credit.
  • Possess analytical and systematic thinking in knowledge of industry analysis, financial instruments, credit, and business analysis.
  • Familiar with rules and regulations of banking services.
  • Good communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.​
