Important: Update Valid ID Documents & Perform Biometric Verification for K PLUS BIZ Vietnam Users

 

To comply with regulations from the State Bank of Vietnam (Circular 17/2024/TT-NHNN), please update your identification documents and/or perform biometric verification to avoid service disruptions in the following cases:

Who must update their information

  1. Legal representatives within organization who have never completed biometric verification with KBank
  2. Legal representatives and related individuals within organization with expired identification documents:
    • Vietnamese Customers: ID Card/Citizen ID
    • Foreign Customers: Passport, Visa/Residence, Card/Proof of Visa Exemption

How to Update ID Documents & Complete Biometric Verification

  • For Vietnamese Customers:
A. In case of expired ID documents
A1. Biometric verification has not been completed
    1. Update your ID document with the latest validity.
    2. The KBank after-sales team will assist you at your business location. Alternatively, you may contact the business team directly or visit our Ho Chi Minh City branch.
    3. Our staff will collect a copy of the new document and perform biometric verification using KBank's specialized equipment.
A2. Biometric verification has been completed (*)
      Option 1: Update by replying KBank email
    1. Check your registered email for an email with the subject "Update Valid Identification Document" from VN_KBank@kasikornbank.com.
    2. Reply to the email and attach the following documents:
      1. - A copy of the front and back of your latest valid 12-digit chip-based ID card, or
      2. - A screenshot of the ID document from the Document Wallet in the VNeID app
      Option 2: Visit our KBank branch
    1. Prepare your latest valid ID document.
    2. Visit our KBank branch to update your latest valid ID document at 115 Nguyen Hue street, District 1, HCMC.
      Option 3: Update via the K PLUS Vietnam application (only apply in case you have registered application).
    1. Prepare your latest valid ID document.
    2. Update your ID Card on the K PLUS Vietnam application following the instructions here
B. If your ID document is valid but biometric verification has not been completed:
    1. Prepare your valid ID document.
    2. The KBank after-sales team will assist you at your business location. Alternatively, you may contact the business team directly or visit our Ho Chi Minh City branch.
    3. Our staff will conduct biometric verification using KBank's specialized equipment.
  • For Foreign Customers: Please update your information with valid ID documents at KBank branch or contact the business team for support.

Note: For security purposes, please perform biometric verification only through KBank's official channels. KBank will never request OTPs, passwords, or security codes by phone or through links.
