Near-Field Communications (NFC) ID Card Update Announcement
INCREASE SECURITY WITH BIOMETRIC AUTHENTICATION WITH CHIP-BASED CCCD CARD
1. KBank launches the features of updating biometric data from chip-based CCCD card and implementing biometric transaction authentication according to Decision No. 2345/QD-NHNN of the State Bank on implementing enhanced solutions to protect customers in conducting electronic transactions from July 1, 2024.Online transactions required biometric authentication.
From July 1st, 2024 onwards, biometric authentication is REQUIRED when making the online transactions via K PLUS Vietnam.

2. Instructions for updating ID Card to conduct biometric authentication.
You can update ID Card via K PLUS Vietnam or at KBank HCMC to receive our services by one of the following options.
Option 1: Update ID Card via K PLUS Vietnam.
You need to prepare your chip-based CCCD card and NFC-enabled device. Then, follow these steps ;
Note: In case you clicked Later and want to use biometric authentication, from the Home screen, please click Settings > Personal information > Update ID card.
Option 2: Update ID Card at KBank HCMC.
Please bring your chip-based CCCD card to be updated at KBank Ho Chi Minh City Branch at 115 Nguyen Hue, Ben Nghe Ward, District 1 by supporting from our staffs.
