Qualification and Documents Requirement

Qualifications

  • The Importer must pay by Letter of Credit only
  • The Importer must pay for the good in full or submit a trust receipt before the bank proceeds with the guarantee transaction
  • When the document arrive, the importer must request the original B/L from the bank to exchange with the shipping guarantee from the sea freight company. The shipping guarantee must be returned to the bank to terminate the undertaken guarantee to the sea freight company.

Documents Requirement

  • A Letter of Undertaking for issuing a Letter of Guarantee and/or Endorsing Delivery Order
  • A copy of the invoice
  • A copy of the Marine Bill of Lading
  • The trust receipt
  • The shipping guarantee of the sea freight company
